When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder.

Title: When the roll is called up yonder.
    Author: Atuh Samuel

Imagine a typical bright and cloudless day
Its sunny and there appears no sign of rain
The robins, making their usual sounds, they are thankful
And the living flowers and trees makes the world beautiful

People going about their lives - some working at jobs
Other shopping or enjoying a meal with friends and having endless talks
    Some, equally, will be fornicating
Painful they now call it love-making

All these and more taking place when suddenly
The birds stops singing and silence settle in which is not lovingly
Clouds assemble overhead with unusual-looking and strange light ray
Crowd of awestruck onlookers pointing to what appears to be a doorway

Then Something - or rather - Someone begins to emerge with voice so loud (1Thess 4:16)
And the dream-like quality of the scene is shattered by the unearthly sound
    Ominous and majestic in nature
Penetrating to the core of every creature

Hundreds and thousands rocketing upward looking ravishing
The stunned onlookers watch us into the sky vanishing
Those who understand the incident cried as they pray
But it is too late for they have turned prey

For the grace of God that bringeth
salvation hath appeared to all men (Titus 2:11)
